    taper thread

I have a vertical machining center running a mitsubishi meldas 520 am control
and I am trying to cut an internal 1"-11.5 NPT using a single point threading tool and am having no luck whatsoever trying to figure out what the book is telling me to do as far as a program to accomplish this. any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I can't help with Mitsubishi Controller but can supply a file containing a full list of XYZ coords.
You would need to cut and paste the section to suit the radius of your tool.
If you are interested advise approx dia of cutter and wether you intend to cut from top or bottom.

This is a give and take message board, your learning experience may help someone else out.

Would you mind sharing the method you used to figure it out???
