Still at it, More stuff!

Picked up a bunch of 6061 ally scrap from boat builders and had a play with 2 sided machining again.
This one is from 1" 6061 scrap piece.
Milled the block to 90x90mm with holes in the corners to match my baseplate hold down holes so when i flipped the peice and screw it back down it will be in the right place.
Did the v-carving first with a 22mm 90 degree v bit, wasn't sure how well it would work but it worked very well.
I nearly got it right, i missed by about 0.2mm as you might be able to see, next time i'll set up a fence to more accurately position the stock.
Some horrible tool marks on the outside surface of the bottom piece, i suspect it was from ramping the plunges and the bit chattering also cheap chinese end mill too.
Not bad for a test tho

Fits together quite well, not sue what I'll use it for yet maybe a little grease pot or something like that
