    Bobca rapid speeds

    Hi Guys,

Where can you change rapid speeds in Bobcad? Or is this something done in Mach3? My rapids are faster with Bobcad than my previous cad cam and so I'm assuming it in the cad/cam?

    Thanks so much

Rapid speed is determined by your Velocity in Motor Tuning in Mach.
If your previous CAM was slower then it must have been calling G1's with a feedrate rather than G0's, either that or you have recently changed the Velocity in Mach.

And, if bob is running faster (aka the right speed) why would you want to change it? To slow it down? Do you cut in rapid?

Thanks Hood that's what it was, so I changed the settings in Mach. And Bobcad guy I wanted to change it because the rapids were so fast it was sometimes triggering my closed loop motors ( they couldn't handle that siuper fast rapid speed)

    Thank guys
