    Live tool Left-handed tapping (Puma 240M)

    Hello I have a problem, I can not cut the left-hand thread. Radial active tool. Right without problems.

    M29 .... ...
    G88 ..

    What to do with the left?

    I find correct codes M72 and M73

    But the machine is stops at the G88 and waiting when I press "Start".
    And it continues to work after pressing the button.

    What's the problem?

    OK,

    You need to reverse motor polarity before engaging M29 Rigid Tap function.

    Therefore:

    M176 (spindle polarity reverse)
    M29S400
    G88X-20.R)P)F1.
    G80
    M177(spindle normal)
