    Post How to cut 20 start thread with single point tool on OTA control

    I have to cut 20 start RH threads on OD of 85.5,pitch 3.0, minor dia 82.5, thread length 18 mm, I have never used threading,Pl guide me and if possible make a sample program for above data.Thanks

    Whats up, do you use mach 3? Download the free demo version, select mach3turn, hit estop at the bottom left, goto wizards at the top, select threading, and enter your information, press save and post code, then exit. To get the code you can manually type it into a txt or load it into your machine, I think you can edit the text too by clicking 'EDIT'.
