Just joined the forum, after months of trolling various Forums and searching on Google, I'm about to take a leap of faith and order from China.

I do need a laser that is accurate,(so the cuts are right size not 2 mm bigger or smaller) so need some advice on what I can add to it to make it as good as it possibly can be. I will be engraving cutting a mixture of different materials

Ive asked for the following
6565 series Based DSP Board
3 Phase Stepper Motor on all axis
Molybdenum-Mirrors (>25mm)
CW5000 Water chiller
reci CO2 laser tube W4 130W
Chain appose to belt to raise the bed.

Why do people ask for different size lenses? and should I order different size lenses for different applications?
Is there anything that I've missed that you think i should order?
1 last thing, should i ask for the stepper motors to be powered from a separate source, and the rest of the laser from a separate source? (so 2 power sources)

Hi, different size lenses will be useful for different work, 2" for general engraving, 2.5" for general cutting, 4" for thick material cutting.

Hi Geo,

Change the chiller to a 5200, the 5000 has reliability issues.

Engraving on a 130 watt tube is going to be hard to achieve with decent results. (the W4 is actually a 100 watt with an agreed peak of 130 watts)
