    LinuxCNC capabilities?

Hi guys, this is my first post here so I hope I'm doing everything right.

I make a lot of wooden letters using Linux CNC and was wondering if anybody knows of a quick way to execute a pre-made G-Code file without actually having to open it in the normal way? For example, I have read about the touch plate buttons here and I thought it might be possible to have lots of buttons at the side of my screen so that if I want to cut a letter 'C' I'd simply click the corresponding button and it would start cutting immediately (having already touched off).

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Peter

You can put commands to buttons but i think you would have to rest zero all the time ,..
