I think this is an easy one, unless you (I) don't know how to fix it that is!

Using hand-wheel before machine had been zeroed, ran onto X-limit. Manual says hold in power on button and then use power feed (X-) to move off limit. Machine was then turned off. When turned on again, boots up software fine, then says power required, when on button pushed a second time nothing happens and motors/air/etc not energized. How can I get the machine off the limit now? I tried holding in the power button and pressing X- power feed or activate hand wheel but nothing happens. Thanks for any help.

Depends somewhat on the software in your machine. Some won't powerfeed until it has been aligned, others won't handwheel until it has been aligned.

However, in either case, the drives should power up and stay up as long as the green button is held in. If this doesn't happen as it is supposed to as you indicated, you need to look into why the drives don't power up. Start by checking the drives for a fault indicator.

If you want to move it away from the limit manually first, just push it and you can move the table with moderate force. If you can't get it to move, pull the waycover and turn the screw by hand.
