Both my parrallel LPT 1 settings on my PC and my laptop are port 378. I put this in to run the Xylotex steptest.exe and nothing happened. So i tried port 3BC and it all works fine. But thats not what my computers ports are set for! All the stepper motors ran for each axis, they ran a little poorly for 1ghz machine and 1/8 stepping, But im going to use a 2ghz machine on it soon.

What could be the problem with the ports? My device manager says 0378, but mach3 errors also, but it too will run with port 3bc selected, just the motors won't run. Bios settings? My bios parallel port setting is set for ECP, and auto.

All the motors are wired correctly.

What output signals should I have enabled and the pins selected in the mach3 for the xylotex board? Right now everything is disabled in the output settings tab. Nothing runs! lol I'm a total noobie!
