In addition to posting on this forum I would like to suggest posting your CNC CAD files to cncmentor.com. The CAD Library autoconverts uploaded files to several different file formats and generates several different preview images. Many might benefit from files being located in both places. I have found a great program for all of you that have been frustrated converting images to vectors. It's called Vector Magic, is easy to use and has minimal cleanup. One small drawback is it does not save directly into dxf. It does save to Illustrator (AI) format. It has saved me tons of work.

If you're like me and don't want to spend money, Inkscape is the way to go; and you CAN save directly into .dxf format. Great program and it's FREE.
