Has anybody ever used the RS 232 interface of a Sodick A320D? What type of DNC software are you using?

I ran that same machine, but never used the RS232 port..just used a disk.
Are you able to get the Automatic wirefeed to work??..we never did,lol..POS..Visit my webpage www.cdignition.com

We used the disk up to last week but this has now stopped and its not a standard item. Thats why I'm trying to connect the 232 port until we get the foppy drive, if its not that expensive (which I doubt).
The wire threading never used to work until we switched over to Zinc coated brass wire (cobra cut). It now works maybe one out of five times.
