    Sweet!

Could you do a "simple" 5-axis path/part as well (or link it if it exists already)?

So I did a quick video using morph between 2 curves for a 5 axis part. It's a simple sample, but mcphill if you have a sample part you would like me to go though for everyone please share...

Here's a part I would like to see.

I was thinking that "tilt lines" could be used to machine this with a head that rotated to allow the step down cut of the undercut?

So, a head tilting with a stationary table cutting this would help me understand some stuff...

    Burr,

Can you give me more information....

How is the rotation going to be handled?

    Damn.. The smart dialogues!

Yes, that cut is what I was refering to. I was looking at "tilt lines" more as a means to learn to explicitly cut the part... In other words, if I can force it to tilt and cut where I want, then the dialogues are easy....

Probably my biggest stumbling block is I dont have/run a 5 axis machine, so I figure if I start with manually controlling the single added axis, then the rest will fall into place... I could be wrong
