Saving cutting tools in library. Can someone help please.

I have been trying to save cutting tools with correct speeds and feeds etc.
Every time I do this it has not saved it in the library and will go back to the defaut tools.
Its ok while using it and changing settings, but cant save any changes.
    Thanks

I had the same prob. I did two things: 1) Save your library as a vkb file. 2) edit speeds and feeds in the tool library vs. in an operation. For some reason it doesn't transfer to the library during a save if you only put the speeds/feeds in an operation.

I found that when you are adding tools, you can save the tool library but not save it through the Knowledge Base directly or it doesn't work. So save the tool to the library or a desktop folder, then load the tool library and drag the tools over you wish to use. BTW, Udi (pronounced ooh day) is awesome. Provides excellent support and seems to know everything in and out. Great program just limited tutorials to get advanced things going.

I bought a 5 hour training block and taught me the basics.
