    ALARM 905 - OIL FILTER

    Hi!
    Okuma LC30 ST2 OSP5000L.
After the starting machine the alam appears:
    905 OILFILTER 1
I have read the operation & maintenance manual.
    The description:
The oil filter was clogged to actuate the pressure switch and the pressure switch was kept actuated for more then two seconds
(Bit 4 of EC input #1 is 1).
I tried to find this BIT4 of Interface Card EC, and looks like only the socket E0-2 (pin 16), in electrocheme it connects to PS2C (Chuck Oil Pressure).
I tried to connect this wire to ground to obtain 0 evrytime, but unsuccessfull.
    Can anybody solve this problem?
May be I touch not the same Pressure Switch?
The photo of Pressure switch is in attach.

First obvious question, did you clean/replace the filter?

    Yes!
I did it first of all. The filter in the main tank.
But where is the pressure sensor?
    May be it is broken?
The message appears after 1 - 2 working hours. And removed only in next day.
Can you tell me where is the location of pressure sensors? And what unit of the machine generate this alarm?
I thought about Chuk, but I missed. I made the experiment in other Okuma by press the sensor (in photo), but the alarm not occurs.
So the sensor in photo not provide alarm 905.
Which sensor provide this error I don't know.

Look for lubrication oil tank. Very often the filter is inside the tank and pressure sensor is on the top of the tank cover. Look for small JB on the top of the lubrication oil tank cover. Maybe constant "1" or "0" doesn't helps, because control thinks logic.
Anyway, for OSP5000 must be simple signal level enough to keep alarm off.

The ones pictured are for minimum chuck pressure/tailstock pressure. The alarm you are getting is most likely caused by a pressure differential switch mounted near the hydraulic unit.

The problem was in Oil Cooler.
It is in reare panel of Okuma. The sensor (BIT12) wire 200 is on Oil Cooler.
I increase the temperature and the Alarm disappered.
