New machine I designed really want to hear opinions!!

Hallo guys, I have just finished a relative BIG project of making a CNC milling machine.
I would really like to hear some opinions.
I'm a 32 Mechanical engineer and put a lot of prep work. But the project itself took about 3-4 months to complete. Be happy to answer any questions...

    Hi Ben!
I don't usually download files without knowing what is in them. Could you please post some photos?
I once thought that my machine was finished ... sigh.

Hi, this is not a downloadable file, just a link to a Dropbox page with some pictures..

Uploading images turn out to be a mess from the ipad, even with dumb tapatalk

Thanks Ben! Interesting! Can you give some information on your spindle?

Sure, It is most common in ebay, it cost about 60$
It rated to turn 12000 rpm
It has an ER11 collet (max 7mm tool) (which is annoying why not make it 8??)

I have purchased a set of collets which was in a very low quality (and price)
The spindle itself comes with a 3mm collet of very high quality

I Oslo have a PWM driver which cost 15$ in ebay "other" web sites sell the exact same one for much higher price around 50$ )

And for now I can control the spindle speed via potentiometer (don't know why I can't get PWM from the LPT yet)

I milled wood and aluminum with no problems, no over heat no nothing.
I did used a flyer cutter of approx 40mm and the spindle sounds like it would rather be doing something els

The runout was rated 0.05 mm but I measure 0.2mm on the collet holder!
Which is sucks I think the spindle motor is ok but the collet holder is poorly done
Seem like a part I can do myself with better runout

Nice heavy duty machine, could probably handle a much more powerful spindle.

No doubt there, I have decided to use a cheaper one as a start since this can be easily replaced, as a start I'm very happy with it, and i learned what to look for in the next one.

Indeed The machine is 90kg of steel almost no aluminum and is very powerful...
