They are being rather quiet aren't they.
There are several bdtools threads here but only a couple from cncfusion since they haven't been available as long as bdtools.

Yeah, I have read just about every thread I can find, but can't find much about them that I can use to compare them to decide which to get.

I have got one of those aluminium controller boxes and I have to say that mine is a real rubbish, I doubt that others are better.
    * Construction is very bad: holes doesn't match, paint is scratched off from some places, bad tolerances on parts etc.
    * It is very small box in every way, especially length and width, but also height should be bigger. You won't have space for making aesthetic wiring job and leave room for future add-ons, you will struggle to get everything inside and connected.

Maybe your box will have better construction and maybe you have better wiring skills, but I just needed to inform you.

I got wires from my local computer store and motor cables, connectors etc from cnc4pc.

I was also thinking it would be small, I may try to find a bigger one, maybe a 19" rack mountable style or something.
I live in the middle of now where so I don't have a source for anything unless I drive 120 miles, so most of the time it is cheaper for me to buy online.

    Thanks for your feedback.

Billy's kits are great. You shouldnt have any problem with fit or finish.
However the 4" cylinder might be useless. Single stage? I dont think it will develop the push needed to release the collet. Also the diameter of a 4" bore cylinder might make alignment over the spindle a little difficult especially if considering a motor swap. Hoss' used a 3 stage (home built) cylinder with a bore of less than 3.25".

Well I got the kit from BD Tools, looks great. I also go the mill today and put it up on the stand to clean, disassemble, and break-in. I got a test sheet with this mill, impressed, as my last mill didn't have anything like this. I should have my electronics in tomorrow. Lots to do.

Well I got everything in now except the screws, mill completely apart now. Trying to mount all this electrical stuff in this small case is a challenge. How is every one running the DB25 from the Panel mount DB25 to the DB25 on the BOB ?

I also will say, the quality of the G0704 blows away the quality of my Grizzly X3 I had...

I am not sure I know what you are talking about, I was thinking about getting two db25 connectors and some ribbon cable and make my own, but worried it would not be 100% reliable.
