    Mazak QT20 w/ T@ control

    Greeting Mazak users,

    We have an older Mazak Quick Turn 20N w/ T2 control. It has recently been coming up with a spindle drive alarm AL021
    displayed on the spindle drive.

    We have only the machine manual and no spindle drive manual. Can someone chime in with the meaning of AL021 and any
    diagnostics you can recommend? Spindle drive is a Yamashi Electric
    Type: SF - PW Is this Mitsubishi?

    Dear Friend,

    Please check the encoder cable for any damage going to the SF-TL CARD (which is a small card mounted ).Check for the 5v from the NC side.Also check whether the encoder is faulty or damaged.
