    Help, new to cambam, mach3 . . . .

I finished making my homemade CNC Router and am starting to try to learn the software side of things, I have a licensed copy of Mach3 and using the trial on CamBam, I created a simple square in CamBam and created a simple profile and put the Gcode into Mach 3, this is what it looks like in Mach3, what's with the 3/4 circle at the bottom left corner ??

I'm getting really bummed, I have a nice machine and have no clue what to do with the software.

I'm getting this on other samples I am working with too.

That looks correct I suspect you are cutting an outside profile and the circle you see is your lead in and is part og the gcode created by Cam Bam....

Work thru some of the samples..and watch all he videos. There was just a video posted on Cambam. Don't give up it gets easier as get a base understanding.

    Thanks Garry.

I did make some progress today and produced some good G-Code to make some new offset gantry sides for my machine.

I made a nice magic marker holder for the router till my spindle and drive come in this week, and drew the part out on some construction paper, it came out perfect.

I'm in the process of learning CAMBAM myself. You could try posting on the CAMBAM forum.
