    smart path

is it possible to have smartpath process a nc file add the code to optimize the motion according to the parameters and save it to disk for review / editing / use?

could it be saved to a file outside of the diagnostic screen to avoid the added commentary from the diagnostic process?

SmartPath does these calculations on-the-fly based on the conditions "at the moment". While we could make it save the code it modifies, SmartPath by design creates extra these moves, feedrates changes, look ahead on cutting forces, spindle RPM, Decel, Accel changes inter-actively based on a group of monitored conditions. This is a Patented process. Yes, we could save the optimized code if we wanted. This would be something we would have to customize here. However, if you did run the saved program again later the live-conditions would change so you would lose the benefits SmartPath is designed to give you.
