Hello all,

Our 90's vintage Mazak QT20N w/Mazatrol T2 control has started coming up with the following alarm when powering on:

Alarm # 20 ("The Emergency stop button on the operation panel or in the Electric control panel depressed,
the watch dog timer is not reset.")

The e-stop button is not depressed so it must be the second indication, ".... the watch dog timer is not
reset."

Any ideas?

Check that you get 24Vdc at both pins of your emg stop button as well as at the end connection, then check that the watch dog timer has all correct voltages, it will reset until you get a stable system. I think watch dog timer detects 5V.
