Cool Rotary Table Disabled after power on

    Hello,

I have a 1998 Haas VF-4 with a rotary table. For some reason, for the past several months, every time I power off and power on the machine, the rotary table is disabled. (Parameter 43, 4th item down "DISABLED" is set to 1. When I enter a 0, then the rotary table is active and everything works fine. But, it is annoying that I need to do this every time I turn on the machine.

Do you know why the machine disables the rotary table every time it turns on?

    Thanks for the help

May be a stupid question, but you do hit "Write/Enter" after you change it to "0" right? Mine is set to "1" all the time and the axis still works though.

there is another setting to change to identify the model number of the axis along with the 4th axis enable setting. not sure of the # but it is clearly labeled on the screen if you scroll thru it.

I think the Model number is in Settings not Parameters.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
