    Clamps or Hold-Downs

I use an Epilog Helix 50 Watt laser. We make a lot of craft kit parts out of 1/8 and 1/4" ply, baltic birch and meranti. Had a long standing battle with it over warped wood stock.

I usually tape the edges down, but the rulers pivot. If the wood is very warped it lifts, loses focus and I waste parts. Sometimes I can use weighs, but they have to be in unburned areas and put the bed out of alignment.

Have been toying with making some kind of clamps that can mount to the try below the grid and come up the corners. A few tries, but nothing decent yet. Anyone use or know of something that would work?

    Thanks in advance!

10mm diameter x 10mm long NdFeB magnets will hold just about anything be careful though, it is possible to set them on fire and they are difficult to put out if you do

    best wishes
