I'm as green as it gets but a quick learner and a hard worker which has scored me an oportunity at the steelshop I work at to learn the operation and programming of the 3 older cnc machines they have installed. These machines are old, used and the plc's are poorly documented... I have strung together enough common sense out of what I have read on basic cnc programming to get these machines up and running and have got all 3 sending and recieving nc files allowing drilling and one machine is tapping holes. I am a beginner programmer and what I need is a good windows based emulator which will allow me to test my programs out virtually before I send them out to the floor. (At least that was the big Idea lol )
I was wondering if anything like that was out there and maybe free which would be able to work with a fanuc 0m, 3m, and a mitsubishi meldas 520am??
