I have an air bearing spindle that needs a drive - up to 2kHz to get the full 125k rpm. I have a 1kHz VFD, but cannot seem to find anything with higher frequency to run my 3amp peak, ~1/3hp spindle. I have found drives designed for much higher power output - but in the many k$ range. Any suggestions?

I appreciate Mike's reply, but it turned out to be bigger and more expensive that he remembered. So I am still looking for an alternative.
