    Lightbulb Autodesk Inventor FUSION!

Just want to start a topic on the pros and the cons of Autodesk Inventor Fusion. I got it for free a couple days ago and I had the chance to play around with it since then. It's a very nice program and easy to use for my Mac. Even for someone like me who's a complete newbie to CAD.

What are your thoughts about Fusion?

It was definitely built around the idea of getting rid of the menus and trying to allow the user to do more with fewer parameters and commands. I'm currently playing with Fusion 360 which integrates surfacing, parametric modeling, and TSplines since Autodesk acquired that technology. I can say that the interface is very different from traditional CAD but wouldn't overwhelm a beginner, but may seem "light" when viewed by those who have used older CAD technology.

(P.S. I'm glad you like Fusion. It's one of the few software packages that Autodesk has put on the MAC platform.)
