    Exclamation Renishaw work probe offset

    Hello,

I have a big problem with work probe from renishaw.
I calibrate the ball at 0.001mm and then with the standard macros I tryed to calibrate electronical in a bearing.
The problem is that everytime when I get my work offset in a single point X or Y I have an offset of 0.085mm.
I veryfied on an expensive vice (that is alignet also in 0.002mm) with a bar of 4mm and always after probing with renishaw the work offset on screen indicate me -2.085mm.

Please let me know if any of you had this problem and how can it be resolved.
    I am working on a Haas Vf3.
I have to do precisely parts and can not work in this way.

Wait for an answer soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Renishaw work probe offset

    Claudiu220405,

Did you check the concentricity? Make sure the spindle probe stylus is centered relative to spindle rotation. Get this as close as you can, it might solve your issue. I have talked to other shops in Romania, one in Târnăveni. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you,
