In this video I show why you now can use your profile tool path for engraving. In the past the profile feature with no comp would not cut intersecting lines. This has been changed, also the profile feature will show rapid moves between cuts where currently the engraving tool path doesn't. So if either of these 2 issues had bothered you in the past, this video shows how using the profile tool path solves both of those issues....

Never thought that Profile would work with Un-Vectorized text.Thanks for the Heads Up.Get a V-Tool in Profile options and do away with 2D Engrave altogether,eh.

I have BobcadCam V25 build 895 and I have been trying to engrave down the center of the letters the way you show in the video and it will only follow the outside contour of the letters.

I changed the profile to no offset.

What else should I do?

Can you upload an example file you are having trouble with?

If you make a change to a feature settings you'll need to re compute.
