    OSP-P200L-R / OSP-P200LA-R

HELLO, everybody i need to learn the sequence to touch off the tools in an OKUMA GENOS L300E-M with a OSP-P200L-R it has a probe arm for doing so and if you can tell me if i can do it the old fashion( cutting the OD or ID and measuring and inputting the dimension, like in FANUC you have the option of doing it with or with out the probe arm)or not, also is there any difference between the OSP-P200L-R and the OSP-P200LA-R controls for lathe, regarding setting up the machine? i have been working in FANUC controls for 10 years and only worked with old okumas for a couple of months, like 5 years ago the ones withe green screen probably built in mid or late 90's and they are fairly easy to learn but now in this new job this controls look totally different.thankyou very much for your help, i appreciate any input you guys have a great day.

You should still be able to do it the old fashioned way. Just use the CAL key and enter the known value your tool is at in X or Z.

I think all of the P200's will work the same for setting up tools.

    Best regards,

is your touch setter manual or maybe fully automatic (NC)?
if touch setter is manual; what happens if you do so:
    1. interlock release (pressed operator stress button) with door open
    2. manual mode
    3. open touch setter to it's active position
Previous controls automatically show tool offset screen with active tool X offset highlighted.
If this control do the same or not?
