We are having issues with our plasma torch cutting out during a cut. The Arc ok signal on the DCP (Digital Current Probe) will cut out at the same time the torch turns off. One weird thing is when the Arc Ok signal is on (cutting), the LED is lit on the DCP but not the DTHC - however it is on in Mach 3. ?

We contacted candcnc.com and they said that it could be moisture in the lines extinguishing the torch and told us to make sure the ground clamp is on a real earth ground.

So I went out and got a line dryer and connected the ground clamp to a 8ft earth ground I have for my powder coating application booth. (ground is not used for PC while cutting)

Fired it up this morning and I am having the same results. It stops for 1-3 seconds but will continue to finish the cut. All of our consumable are new. New tips and electrodes, etc.

Miller 625 Xtream 220v plasma cutter
