I like the design concepts I see, direct and effective.

IMHO, If you simply swapped out the bottom two extrusions for 1545 you would have a huge up grade and increased z cappy!

I have been using Simonize floor wax as a paint mask.
First prep the board like no tomorrow...sand, filler, primer, etc...then paint flat black, follow with several coats of Deft semi-gloss. Then give it several good coats of wax, carve and painted white letters with large stiff brush to get into grooves and waxed the again to remove paint outside the letters.
