    Used endmill price?

We have a bunch of endmills, one inch shanks,4.5 long,4 flute. Some are like new, most are in good shape but need re-sharpened also some are double. Also have endmills that are 3/4 shank and one inch or more cutter,4-6 flute. The endmills came with some things the boss got at an auction.I'd like to place them for sale and wonder what i should ask for them. The one inch shanks are tin coated, the one inch doubles are not and the 3/4 shanks are not.I've seen the price of new ones but what would you ask for them being used?

If they truly are new or like new, you might can get 25 cents on the dollar of actual new. 10 cents on the dollar is more likely.

If they're good endmills that are made in India or Usedcheapistan, and they haven't already been ground undersize... I think you should be able to get good money for them.

$125-155/ton, you may have to pay shipping.

    They are talking scrap price.

It will cost to get them sharpened.
It probably isn't worth it. I see large lots of used and resharpened end mills in varying sizes on Ebay all the time. They generally go pretty cheap. I have bought a couple of those sets just to have some extra odd ball tools around.

I think that anyone wanting tools of that size would rather buy new so they know what they have.

Then again, if I wanted to get rid of them, I would list them on Ebay starting low and get what you can.

    C'mon.
You're asking here how much a bunch of cars are worth. Used cars, some like new, they're 14ft long, some have 2 doors, some have 4 doors.

You've yet to reveal what brands, never mind photos. Then some guy pops in wanting to sell a bunch of endmills of dubious quality at ridiculously low prices...

    Everybody who's a sucker raise your hand!!(nuts)
