Needle plates are used in conjunction with vacuum fixtures to keep the wood and soft manmade stock from squirming during machining. These needle plates use very fine steel pins which hold the part firmly under vacuum allowing for:
• Higher Feed Rates
• Fewer ruined parts
• Less Chatter, smoother finish
Needle plates are available with 1mm and .5mm needles, in 16 needle per plate and 38 needle per plate configurations.
