I don't remember how to change the cutting direction from conventional to climb milling.

I have put a profile toolpath on the outside of my part and selected climb milling but when I verify the toolpath it cuts conventional. In v24 how do I change it so it will cut climb mill?

You can use Contours to control direction

in the cam tree, right click on start point under the profile feature, select reverse direction. now you need to edit the profile feature nand change the parameter to left, or right to get the cut on the correct side of the profile.

I was changing the direction at the start point but was not changing the parameter setting.

It worked!
