Is there a good replacement for the A-M-C B25A20E-DM1 Servo Amplifier that controls the spindle motor? It appears to be obsolete and having trouble finding something to replace it with.

There are a few on ebay, usually at all times you will find them there.
I notice the -AC suffix version is still current at AMC, however, in a pinch you could use one of these as-is, or just remove the powersupply and use as a straight non-powered version.
There are also alternative models made by Copley-Controls and AeroTech.

AC conversion to DC
Hello,
What's all involved in powering the AC unit with DC? Is there any cheat sheets for doing this?
I thought I got a BE25A20 on E-bay but the seller isn't shipping or responding, so I may need to convert an AC unit.
