    Z axes zero Deckel Maho DMC 50V Twin Pallet Vertical Machining Centre

    Hey guys!
    I have one question, does anyone know if there is a way to get on the machine Deckel Maho DMC 50V Twin Pallet Vertical Machining Centre makes auto tool zero. I recently worked on Mach 3 and saw how easy it is to catch zero with a metal plate.
    Currently I setup zero at z axes to descend tool until it touches the table. Not exactly the most accurate method.
    Have an idea or suggestion.

    It's possible, but it depends by the control of the machine.

    No, I know only the Siemens 8x0D but don't use this method. Any other controls have similiar possibilities but I can't say anything about the method.

    Generally you need a free PLC input and an electronic probe. After contact, you cancel the feed and take the measure and put it to the toolmemory.
