    My Second Machine Design

    Hi.

I just completed my second machine design after countless revisions.

it will be made from 1" square tubing for the frame and 3/4" mdf for the rest.

    the cut area is about 19" x 30" x 3"

here are some drawings that you all can look at and give me some feedback before i start building.

I like the improvement on the X-Axis, It looks to be Angle iron backing up the flex of the pipe?

Hard for me to tell. Is it square channel (or angle or plate) backing the X up? Why not do it for the Y also?

I think I see square channel supporting the X end plates, not a bad idea but this is not where you need to worry about flex.
