    24 Volts from Computer PS

The following links will provide all the info to link multiple computer power supplies to get more power for your steppers.
I followed the instructions and now I am running 24 volts (actually 22.70 volts) to my steppers on my JCKleinbauer Hawk drill mill. The small steppers that seemed to be weak and stalling at 508mmm/min (20"/min) are now running well at 950-1000mm/min (~40"/min).

Use the How to Modify AT/ATX Power Supply link.
No multiple PS info here just wire management, still important however.

    Good luck!

I was too chicken to run my motors which are 2.1v, 1.0A with 3 power supplies. Each common wire of the steppers has a 10ohm 25W resistor attached.
