    16i-mb Memory A

I've seen similar post on here so I am sorry if I sound like a broken record. I am not a CNC operator or programmer so my background is a little limited on controllers. We purchased a Kitamura from over seas, and when we received the machine our manuals and controller were in Chinese. We had a technician come in and reset the control. So everything is in the right language and units. The operators were a little confused on why they couldn't put in cutter comps. Doing a little research I came to the conclusion that the machine is using memory A and not B. Is this an upgrade cost or would it normally be in the manual on how to change between memory types?

Tool Offset Memory A is standard, B and C are $ options.

You can always use the control "as is" by entering a diameter/radius value in any available offset and calling that number when activating CRC.

    G43 Z0.1 H01 (APPLY LENGTH OFFSET #1)
    G01 Z-0.25
    G01 G41 X0 D51 (APPLY DIAMETER OFFSET #51)

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, we thought about doing it that way but were afraid it might create a problem.
