    Mach 3 GCode Question

How many decimal points can Mach 3 read for coordinates in the gcode? Is it 4 places after the decimal point?

Probably at least 6, but I'm not sure.

Warren it is not so much what Mach can read as it is the ability of your machine to put those positions to use. I use Mach2 with .0000 gcodes but my machine will only be good to .000.

Warren, if this is for your program, let the user decide how many they want. That's what I do in my AutoCAD macro. I use FormatNumber() and Round(). FormatNumber() also let's you turn off commas for numbers over 999. Some programs don't like commas.
