I hope the link works, anyways its a wireless remote you use to watch movies on your computer. I used one on a computer to run media center.

I have been pondering the idea of getting a pendant for awhile but im too broke

Just wondering if this could be a cheap easy alternative.

How can you go wrong?
Worst case is a movie will start playing on your monitor while the spindle rapids into the table.

Im using XP and dont have media center so it wont start a movie heh.

I had MediaCentre on a Toshiba laptop (what a mistake) and found the remote a clumsy and awkward way to control a PC. Such things work OK when you are always facing the electronics box that you are controlling, and always aiming the remote at what you are watching. That is not how I work on the CNC.
