How to set up Servo Amplifier Module in Fanuc 16i-M system

Hi, there! We have one Fanuc 16i-M system:

    PSM: A06B-6087-H1130 (35KW)
SPM: A06B-6078-H211#H500 (rated output current 48A)
    SVM: A06B-6096-H105, ver. C.(rated output current L axis 18.7A)
    Spindle Motor: A06B-0855 -B100#3000 (S1 A~ Max 44; S2 A~ 56).

    They work well.

We changed the SVM to another one (the same part no., different ver.): A06B-6096-H105, ver. E. But when we enabled it, just "-" was displayed.

Could somebody tell me how to figure it out?

    Thanks a lot.

I have a 18i M Model A. Has pretty much the same basic part numbers you listed. Do you have the amplifier manuals?

I'm not too familiar with those PSMs.

I've never tried the 6096's. But I have used several of the 607x and 608x type SVMs and am still setting up my 18iMA ; havent chosen a spindle servo or axes servos yet, so I don't know which to choose. I believe my Axes DIMMs are serial. Someone would have to tell me.

I can send the manual if you don't have them.

I'll look up the - error.

The "-" means that the drive is not enabled. Do the other drives comes up OK? You will see a "0" when they are enabled. Also, why was the drive replaced?

Thanks a lot, my friends. That unit is used, so we want to test it.

    Thanks again!
