    Mach3: Can you add an externa feed OR knob

    What methods are used to add an external FEED OVERIDE POT?
    Needs to be on the machine and not just a screen control.
    One for spindle speed would be nice too, to fine tune cutting, without using a mouse.
    Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.

    You need a device that provides analog inputs into Mach3, and a macro or brain to control the FRO.

    You can do it with a Pokeys, a PLC, or a plain old Gameport.
