    Hurco KMB-1x memory board capacitors

Need to replace a capicitor on one of my KMB-1x memory boads, it was stupidly physically damaged by me while boads were out of the machine for cleaning.

they have no markings on them that I can cross reference to anything, anyone know the spec, or a suitable replacement.

this is the the cap that is beside each chip on the memory boards

    thanks

    Hi

how old is the machine ?

in the past it was normal on old 74 series TTL logic boards to find a 0.1 uf capacitor decoupling
the +5V supply pins on either every IC or every other IC

early memory IC like the 2708 1Kx8 proms use three supply voltages +5V -5V and +12V
each being decoupled to ground /0V pin with 0.1 uF like this from farnell ---

    A104K15X7RF5TAAV - VISHAY - CAPACITOR, AXIAL, 50V, 100NF | Farnell United Kingdom

any 0.1 uF 20V capacitor that will fit in the space will be OK

if the damaged capacitor is one of dozens of 0.1 uF supply decoupling capacitors the board should work without it

PS as you only need 1 capacitor have a look at this ceramic capacitor from Maplin RA49D 0.1uf 100V
