    Haas option parameters

I think we're going to end up buying the macro option for a VF3 that we recently purchased. Are there any other options that we should think about having turned on while Haas is here? Thanks!

Which ones do you currently have?

If you are thinking of getting the macro, might as well consider getting the probe package that includes macro, spindle orientation, coordinate rotation and scaling. I think the probe package will give you a better value.

Definately get the probe option. Guaranteed to be the best option you purchase. It comes with macros, spindle orient, and rotation/scaling. These are all necessary to run the probe software. You have 200 hours of option trial time when you buy a new haas machine. So if you don't purchase any options you have time to try them out. The 200 hours is actual option on time. So for example riggid tapping. If you have a job that you could use rigid tapping, turn it on. When you are done with the job turn it off and you will have time when you need it again.
