Question Single Axis TB6560 driver and breakout board wiring

    Hello,

I am in the progress of building a large 3D printer/mini router. I almost finished the mechanics and ended up stuck with the electronics. I bought a 5axis breakout board and 4 TB6560 single axis chinese drivers (I've heard that combo drivers are inclined to cause problems, so I preferred individual drivers). The problem is, I got no manual with the drivers and I have no idea how to connect them to the breakout board.
I have watched quite a lot of videos and made some serious search on CNCzone, but it seems like everyone here is dealing with digital drivers (with black boxes).
Here is the link for the drivers I've bought :
CNC Router Single One 1 Axis 3.5A TB6560 Stepper Stepping Motor Driver Board | eBay
And here is the breakout board:
CNC 5 Axis Breakout Board interface for Stepper Motor Driver Mill/Input Power:5V | eBay

Can anyone show me the connection like in the picture I attached? I know that there are a thousand of topics asking the same, but somehow I couldn't find the right answer. Please help. Sorry for my English by the way.

the only way I can see the boards can be connected is by
powering the breakout board by connecting a 5v supply to the terminal block
    and not the USB socket

    Hi John,

Thank you for help, the motor started to turn finally The next problem I have now is the heat. The motor gets very hot when it turns for a minute. I guess it's something with the motor tuning settings. I'll need to review Mach3 manual for that.

    Hi Badboy ,

stepper motors do run hotter than you would first expect
about 60 or 70 degree C ! too hot to touch for more than a few seconds

when stepper motors are bolted to the metal body of a machine
the metalwork will act as a heatsink helping to cool the motors

but , double check the switch settings for the motor current
just in case your runing the motor at too high a current

You may want to check the power supplied, if your voltage is high lots of heat will be generated.
"Energy can not be created or distroyed only transformed" the theory of relativity.
That noted, if you supply high voltage and the motor requires low voltage the energy needs to go some place, so it turns to heat.
You should supply the motor the Voltage it needs and not any more, the IC (TB6560) can handle a large voltage range "12-36V" but this is to cover the use of a few different sized motors.

    Hope this helps,

    Rob

What is the current rating of the motors? Do you have the 6560 set to supply the proper amount?

It should not get hot after 1 minute unless it is severely over driven.
