Hi All

I have a Kafo mill that i think needs parameters installed . Batteries where out
of machine when it arrived . Mdi has power but can "not" get it to show software keys. Where do i start ? Read book but ,no help there ! 1995 Kafo/Phoenix mill with 15Ma fanuc control .

without a copy of the original parameters, you need an expert on the Kafo/Phoenix mill to succeed. Maybe you can find another similar machine to get parameters from. Try the importer (if they still exist)

Do you see anything in the screen?
Look in the maintenance book. Sometimes you can find the parameter list there.

Hi All

Memoryman had replied to my post .
Screen was coming on but ,as a newbie ,I never enter parameters myself !
Memoryman was very helpful . I tried his holding 7 & 9 keys while turning on
Mdi and it worked . i will post progress as we go . No time to get back on
reinstalling yet . I have fanuc book for machine .But its readings are not as
needed (even right book ?) They just confused me more ! I have local machine
shop tech coming over to help next week .I do have listing of parameters &
times etc in book . May need all your helps soon again ? This is like dos all over
again !
