    EZ Trak Spindle Brake Adjustment?

    Hello CNC Guru's,

My 94 EZ Trak SX Series I spindle brake is now nearly non-existent. Changing tools is becoming a real problem. Is there an adjustment to tighten the spindle brake shoes, or do the shoes have to be replaced?
If replacement is needed, how "hard" of a job is it?

    Thanks,
    Mark

No adjustment. But they are very similar to a motorcycle drum brake in that there is a lever that rotates a flat piece of metal. The thickness or height can be increased by welding to move the shoes apart further. But why do this? It has to be pulled apart to do this, why not just replace the brake shoes?
