    LinuxCNC and EMC2 ?

    Guys,

Can I connect EMC2 on LinuxCNC with LPT directly into my stepper motor driver ?
Is it possible for me using USB to LPT converter since I can't find a parallel port on my computer ...

    Thanks

A LPT port over USB just doesn't do it. This is covered well on the LinuxCNC site.

By the way the Name is now LinuxCNC, EMC is no longer used to identify the project.

Have you ever used it ? How to set 0,0,0 ?
    Thanks

I have used it. You will need to get a parallel port card for your computer.

Read everything you can on the LinuxCNC.org site.

Generally, 0,0,0 is set using limit switches and a homing routine. You can daisy chain the limit switches so they share one input (pin) on the parallel port.
