On eBay I bought MACH3 4 AXIS CNC Wheel Hand Engraving Machine For ModsMach3 MODBUS Pendan MPG. Besides, I got some basic instructions how to configure Mach3 to operate hand controls. The problems begin when I try to move the axis of the keyboard. The axis moves about 3-4 mm and then stops, and if I want to move the axis to increase the length I need to press on the keyboard. If you try to press home, but each axis moves to 3-4 mm mach 3, Digital readouts set to zero. I have tried all possible settings on manual control, but it is no different. I tried to disable command from the COM1 port. If you turn off the port and pin settings / Mod Bus input and output support in the general config Run macropump keyboard operates correctly.

I changed the Mach3 Version R3.043.022 to Version R3.043.020 and now MACH3 4 AXIS CNC Wheel Hand Engraving Machine For ModsMach3 MODBUS Pendan MPG works ok.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I am wondering if anyone has tried this model:

3 axis remote pendant MACH3 for CNC router engraving machine with wire for Mach3 | eBay

It looks like it would fit the bill for me, but I am just curious if there are any problems anyone has run into with it. $130 is a moderate gamble, but good luck getting support or returning it to China if you have problems.
