    welder,

It is very simple to wire it to a computer. You will need a computer with a parallel port. Then, route the wires like this:

    more info here: http://seriss.com/opcs/install/anaheim.html
that image shows it for two motors, but you can continue using the same parallel connector for the other two motors. Just put the other two sets of wires in the next available pins.

Remember how you routed your pins and then configure Mach3 accordingly.
I have never configured Mach3 before (I use EMC2), but the operation should be very similar.

There are three basic things the computer will need to know to move each motor:
    1. Enable/Disable pin
    2. Direction pin
    3. Steps/Clock pin

You will need these for each motor. Keep in mind that the enable pins can be bunched together and the ground pins can be bunched together as well (see image above)

We're in the process of restoring a CNC Router based upon this exact controller. Does anyone have a working Mach 3 or EMC2 config file they're willing to share? We've got the pinouts from the controller and it matches the below diagram. Unfortunately the step and direction pulse width and setup timing are still a stumbling block for us.

    thanks for any pointers!
